Privacy Policy
Trav App – Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 August 2025
Trav App (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and how you stay in control. It is written for Apple App Store / Google Play disclosure requirements and the EU GDPR.
1. What the app does
Trav App is an offline travel journal that lets you
mark the countries you have visited, and
add countries to a wish-list for future trips.
No social feed, no accounts, no ads.
2. Data we do not collect
We never collect or store:
Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, device ID).
Location data (precise GPS or coarse location).
Usage analytics or crash logs (no Firebase, Google Analytics, etc.).
Payment information (the app is free and has no in-app purchases).
Photos, contacts, microphone input, health data, or any other device information.
In short: Trav App collects zero personal data.
3. Data stored locally on your device
What: Your visited-countries list and wish-list.
Where: Secure storage on your iOS or Android phone or tablet only.
Why: Needed for the core feature—showing your travel record.
How to erase:
Delete the app
We cannot access or view this data; it never leaves your device unless you choose to share it yourself (for example, by taking a screenshot).
4. Data sharing
We share nothing with anyone.
There are no third-party SDKs, ad networks, or analytics services embedded in Trav App.
5. Optional push notifications
A future version may add trip or wishlist-reminder notifications. These will be:
Opt-in—you will see the standard Apple / Android permission prompt.
Non-essential—declining will not limit any core functionality.
6. Children’s privacy
Trav App is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The app collects no data that would require parental consent under COPPA or GDPR-K.
7. Security
Because all data remains on your device, the primary security protection is your own device passcode or biometric lock. Trav App never transmits your data over the Internet.
8. Your rights
Even though we hold no identifiable data, EU residents may still contact us to request:
access,
correction,
deletion,
restriction, or
objection.
Uninstalling the app automatically removes all stored data.
9. Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce cloud sync, user accounts, analytics, or in-app purchases, we will update this policy before releasing those features. You will see the new policy inside the app and on the store listing.
10. Contact
